Electrolux Professional took an active part in carrying out the ambitious and innovative project of the huge deli-shop Eataly in Turin by providing expert advice, and was chosen as a partner for the kitchen equipment supply. The 11,000 square meters market place offers eight thematic restaurants, two training kitchens, a wine and a beer tasting bar, a library with Internet access, a conference room and a museum.


Totally were installed fifteen air-o-steam ovens, four blast-chillers, two Therma kitchens and meters and meters of modular preparation space from Electrolux Professional Thermaline 900 and Elco 700 and 900 series. In the training kitchen zone a Podium II Molteni stove with its matching hood was preferred. For the occasion the Molteni kitchen was equipped with new functions and a completely new layout: two chromed and half moon shaped fry tops in the centre and induction cook tops at the ends.

Mr. Farinetti, the creator of this brilliant and innovative market concept, has many plans for the future and in the next few years he will open a new deli-centre in New York and, at the same time, in several important Italian cities as Genoa, Milan, Verona, Bologna, Naples, Bari and Palermo.
